Bio and Links
Bio Photo WE are both retired City of Atlanta Police Officers and are interested in history and geneology. Although we are concerned with our own family histories, we are also interested in the graves of others. We try to fulfill requests in our area, but we also photograph the older forgotten cemeteries that are falling to ruin. We feel it is important to preserve a memorial before time and nature make it unknown. We are not doing this for the numbers, but for others who have a sense of family and history. Please feel free to use any pictures we have posted on Find A Grave. If you are a family member, we will gladly transfer management to you. Additionally, if we've made a mistake, please let us know so we can correct it.

RE: Allwood/Allens
Hi - I do a web page on the Alwood family, which has some links. I'll also email some information.

RE: Jim Waldroup
I can no longer see the edit I sent. I've been sending through some edits where the memorial had no last name so perhaps that was it. But I know nothing more about this person. Thanks for checking with me.

William A McDaniel Marker
You have a photo of the headstone for William A McDaniel, b. 1876 and d. 1878 at Mt. Zion church in Lamar County. I am trying to find out if William is the 1st child of Sarah Hawkins McDaniel and Samuel J. McDaniel. When I visited this cemetery abt 4 years ago I did not see the monument you posted but I did see a very small marker leaning against the headstone for Sarah H McDaniel. I'm not sure who to contact for this information. Do you know if there are records at Mt. Zion church and/or how I might contact this church?

Sarah Hawkins McDaniel is my great grandmother and little is known about her as she died when my grandfather was very young.

Adams memorial in Virden cemetery
Thank you very kindly for the offer, but I would like to try to get in contact with a direct descendant of the Adams who's memorials are in Virden cemetery before I accept your offer. The Adams in Virden cemetery are my great, great, great... uncles, aunts & cousins. The reason I requested a link for them is because of this little project I do on findagrave. I call it an "after-life" family reunion. I do research to try to locate, then request a link to the children of my direct ancestors whose memorial pages I can locate on the findagrave website. Thank you for the offer & for all of your hard work to make these memorials. Oh, do you mind if I would be able to list you as one of my friends on the findagrave website?
