Bio and Links
Bio Photo WE are both retired City of Atlanta Police Officers and are interested in history and geneology. Although we are concerned with our own family histories, we are also interested in the graves of others. We try to fulfill requests in our area, but we also photograph the older forgotten cemeteries that are falling to ruin. We feel it is important to preserve a memorial before time and nature make it unknown. We are not doing this for the numbers, but for others who have a sense of family and history. Please feel free to use any pictures we have posted on Find A Grave. If you are a family member, we will gladly transfer management to you. Additionally, if we've made a mistake, please let us know so we can correct it.

Adams memorial in Virden cemetery
Thank you very kindly for the offer, but I would like to try to get in contact with a direct descendant of the Adams who's memorials are in Virden cemetery before I accept your offer. The Adams in Virden cemetery are my great, great, great... uncles, aunts & cousins. The reason I requested a link for them is because of this little project I do on findagrave. I call it an "after-life" family reunion. I do research to try to locate, then request a link to the children of my direct ancestors whose memorial pages I can locate on the findagrave website. Thank you for the offer & for all of your hard work to make these memorials. Oh, do you mind if I would be able to list you as one of my friends on the findagrave website?

Memorial errors
I understand!

I proof mine a couple of times when entering a memorial, then later I go back and see things I missed like the date is off!!

Thanks for all the Upson County memorials.

Thanks for your help on his Memorial. His mother was married at least 2 times, so you see the difference in her last name.
Thanks so much!!

Hello Clyde & Sandra,
Thanks for your help. I've visited Upson County a few times over the past 35 yrs. Never been to this cemetery before. Please add her complete name if you wish. You might want to put the source/reference for all this material:

Howell Genealogy and History, by Betty Howell George of Fort Valley, Georgia.

Thanks for all the wonderful memorials and photos. I sent some links to her parents today. There is a duplicate memorial for her # 68361171 which I plan to contact the Archives to let them know. I guess some family members didn't know where she was buried or perhaps she was moved from Martin Cemetery. Yes, her name is Martha Josephine Howell Rogers.
