RE: Multiple Connections
Hi Dee:

So sorry for the delay in responding--am always swamped! Would love to meet you sometime. Please feel free to "look me up" when you come to NJ next, or let me know when that will be.

Best regards.

Hi, thanks for your message. The "two different dates and alpha/numeric codes" you asked about about are from the Martin County Genealogical Society's Obituary Index. I have added expanded it on the memorial and added more information on him. Best wishes: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=133347903

RE: William Meyer
Hi Dee,

There is a large prevalence of children at this church, and the office was very quick to get rid of me. I think they were (and, as a father, I don't blame them) suspicious of a strange man coming around asking about gravestones. Sad to say, but a woman may have better luck that I did - I fear if I go back and hunt around for the plaque that they may call the authorities on me.

RE: James Downing
Dee, Thanks for getting back to me. I think I still have the book so hopefully someone will contact me. I would like for this to be in the Downing family. I know I would treasure it were it my family line.

RE: james downing
Dee, I have no relationship with this Line however I was given a book that belonged to the Downing Family and was trying to make contact with a member of the family. There were many names listed in the book along with dates. No one has contacted me regarding the book. If you know of a family member that would like to have the book for family value contact me.

RE: Robert Johnson
Hello.....yes, my grandfather was Robert Henry Johnson & was born in Tenn. He is buried near Sylva, NC. My great grandfather was Elisha Johnson & I can not find any other relatives after that. My line just stops. Let me know if I can be of any assistance or if you can help me.
Thanks again,
Robert
