|Marty Hiatt||G W Teas, military headstone|
Thanks for posting/maintaining the site for Ingaby & Geo. W. Teas. When reading the headstone picture I was puzzled about what kind of unit was Cavalry Infantry. On closer examination, I think the letters are CAL for California Infantry. Isn't this George the man who went to California for awhile?
Who owns the picture of Ingaby & George? I would like to obtain a copy.

Was reading your additions to Wm Allen's posting. The obit info posted in the photo field had already been posted to the biography field.
Please reference Find A Grave guidelines (text follows) and remove obit info from photo field at your earliest convenience.
"Can I add an obituary to my interment listing?
Please do NOT add newspaper article or obituary scans. The photo section is reserved for headstone/grave photos and possibly a portrait photo of the person, if that photo is owned by you. Do not copy and post photographs from obituary or funeral home websites (unless you personally are the photographer), as they are protected by copyright law. Find A Grave reserves the right to remove obituary notices and photographs from memorial records. Obituaries for "famous" individuals are usually written by newspaper staff and can not be posted to Find A Grave as the newspaper company owns that copyright. Please do not include website addresses that may be listed in the obituary as they usually expire within a year after the obituary is printed."

Thanks so much ... I was really surprised to see her monument in Colma, knowing that her connection was East Bay. Was the family plot at Mountain View already full...?
Her and her parents' story is certainly full of many tangles like that... I hope she rests peacefully in Cypress Lawn.

I read your monument notes you posted with great interest on John Hilton Sr. This John Hilton is my 5-Great Grandfather so getting the information correct is important. You are correct that many trees do connect this John Hilton to other Hilton lines.
1) Have you learned anymore regarding his parents or his birth?
2) Have you learned the maiden name of his wife Sarah?
3) Where is the information to support his cause of death?
Thanks so much for your time and help on my research.

I did have Nancy's Mom and Dad's name but nothing more than that. Thank-you for that information. I will; add it to the family.
