Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hi,
I have been doing gravestone photos for years and I contribute to a few different websites in Michigan. I have been into genealogy for the past 20 years, mostly just family, then I went into photographing our family headstones, as I was doing that,I was wondering if there was a need for such photos, I found this site, I LOVE it,(to bad it is so ADDICTING!) and I hope to continue doing it for years to come!
PS- Please do not get mad if the photos are mud or grass covered, I'll try to clean off or remove as much dirt and grass as I can to get a good photo. Since I live in Michigan, the weather plays an important part on when I can get out to do the photos. You can't stop nature or time.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, If you are related to any memorial I add, PLEASE ask for it, I would rather see it maintained by family.
I am not related to 99% of the memorials I submit.

If you see that I added flowers to your loved ones, it is just something I like to do.

I DO NOT do recently deceased headstone photos, Please allow at least 6 months for the family to add a marker.

Thank you!
Hi Stoneseeker23,

Thank you so much for taking these pictures! I hadn't seen my Father's grave due to living in Michigan and no other family in Florida. I hope to visit it someday, but in the meantime, I can see it this way. It brings some measure of comfort.

Thanks, again!

Monger Memorial
Hi Stonekeeper,

Thanks for the picture and information on William Monger (Munger). I am a descendant of the family back as far as William Henry Monger b. 1713. I also live in Michigan, so am not in a position either to care for it. I am hoping I might visit it if I travel to VA again. Thanks for your efforts for Find a Grave and your work on genealogy. I find the challenge very exciting ad fulfilling. I have visited some of my ancestors gravesites, mostly in Indiana, South Carolina and Maryland. Happy hunting and photographing.

RE: Barbara Griffiths
You are welcome.
I always try to add to memorials when I find info.
Barbara's brother John Ritchie Duthie married my 1st cousin 1x removed(Lucille Hayes, divorced from Otto Hauck) and I have been working on her branch for years.
I think all of us doing genealogy work need to share when we can. I have not always found that to happen-sad but true. I don't understand the selfishness with that.

Chatterton, Lillian and Cecil:
Hi Stoneseeker, I am so grateful for the pictures of the Chatterton's and their family. I can't thank you enough for doing that for me. I am still working on the daughter who is buried on the same area as I believe, and I may ask you later about that one. Thanks again and much gratitude for doing what I can no longer do. Sue Taylor

Cecil Chatterton headstone.
Dear Stoneseeker, I am so very happy with the picture you took of the grave of Cecil Chatterton, I think I told you I am disabled now and can't do this work anymore, and so I am so appreciative when I can find someone who is kind enough to take the time to do it for me. Sue Taylor

Willetts photos
Thank you so much for the photos of my relatives' graves! I've never made it there to see them and it's great to finally be able to "visit" them online!!

Thank you for capturing the photos of Regina and Bernard Krieger. The history of Regina (nee John) is a bit convoluted, because she was married to both a Bernard James Krieger and a Benjamin John Krieger, who would appear to have been born and died on the exact same dates (!). The records indicate that Bernard and Benjamin were indeed two distinct people, and were not related. However, the fact that the records show they were born and died on the same dates would lead you to believe they were, in fact, the same person. Someday I hope to get to the bottom of this.
