I'm The Old Chief. That's because I'm relatively old and am a retired Navy Chief Petty Officer. I got into working with FindAGrave to enhance my work on our family tree through Ancestry.com and as a way to get out of the house and get some exercise. Although my residence is in central Oklahoma I travel throughout this great country in my RV so you may see memorial and photo entries from various states. |
I'm specifically interested in the names Stone, Weed, Davis, Jones, Berry as it pertains to our family in Oklahoma.
Also my wife's family: Hill, Rogers and Phillips.
TRANSFER REQUEST: If you see someone that is a member of your family and want that memorial changed to your account just ask. If I am not also related I will consider your request. (For transfer request that are outside the FAG guidelines I consider them on a case by case basis. If your profile shows you have MANY more memorials that you "manage" than you have actually done the work to add yourself then your out of guidelines request will probably be denied.)
When requesting a transfer please give your FAG contributor number AND how are you related to the individual. Please use the EDIT tab on the individual memorial page to request transfers. Also, permission is hereby granted to copy and reuse pictures of any grave marker that I have taken and posted on this site as long as they ARE NOT posted to a for profit site such as Ancestry.com.

Re: Lisa T. Johnson--
I doubt T. is a middle initial. Those are decorative crosses. Just a suggestion for a change.
Thank you for the correction of Adell & Newell.

Sorry for the two previous msgs. the Adell Pickett 78833683 that you have listed as the spouse of Newall Pickett 78833700 are actually sister and brother. Their parents are Adele and Newall Sr. thank you.

Is this the number you're asking for?

I'm sorry it took me a while to contact you back. But I didn't know how to see this message. I just happened on this by mistake. I'm still learning.

I was Gary's wife. I would like for his "find a grave" memorial be changed to my account. I'm not sure what information you need from me. If you need anything other than what I have left please let me know. Thank you for your time.
Gary was my husband. I would like to have his memorial changed to my account.
|acybersleuth||Luther R. McFall memorial|
Per my research, this Luther R. McFall, your memorial #103681118, is not the same Luther McFall that was the son of Thomas Anderson and Mary Jane (Hawkins)McFall. I believe their son was Luther Ernest McFall, 23 June 1893, MO - Feb 1974, OK. The 1900 census for Thomas and Mary McFall, in Union Laclede, Missouri, lists their son, Luther, as born in June, 1893.
I believe that the Luther R. McFall of your memorial (1900, MO - 1982, OK) to be the Luther R. McFall found on the 1910 Census in Richland, Tillman County, Oklahoma as Luther R., age 9; with parents George East McFall (1853, MO - 1930, OK) and Letha Tilman 'Lettie' (Hodges) McFall (1857, MO - 1942, OK). George and Lettie are buried in the Tipton Cemetery in Tillman County, Oklahoma. This Luther R. McFall's second wife was Lila (Blassingame) McFall.
I will be glad to send you copies of the above censuses and other information if you need it.
Best Regards to you,

You have a memorial for Plez Holt, Find A Grave Memorial# 92006678 which is my husband's grandfather. I am wondering if it would be ok to copy the photos to my ancestry gallery...
Thank you so much,
Loree Armstrong Johnson
