I'm The Old Chief. That's because I'm relatively old and am a retired Navy Chief Petty Officer. I got into working with FindAGrave to enhance my work on our family tree through Ancestry.com and as a way to get out of the house and get some exercise. Although my residence is in central Oklahoma I travel throughout this great country in my RV so you may see memorial and photo entries from various states. |
I'm specifically interested in the names Stone, Weed, Davis, Jones, Berry as it pertains to our family in Oklahoma.
Also my wife's family: Hill, Rogers and Phillips.
TRANSFER REQUEST: If you see someone that is a member of your family and want that memorial changed to your account just ask. If I am not also related I will consider your request. (For transfer request that are outside the FAG guidelines I consider them on a case by case basis. If your profile shows you have MANY more memorials that you "manage" than you have actually done the work to add yourself then your out of guidelines request will probably be denied.)
When requesting a transfer please give your FAG contributor number AND how are you related to the individual. Please use the EDIT tab on the individual memorial page to request transfers. Also, permission is hereby granted to copy and reuse pictures of any grave marker that I have taken and posted on this site as long as they ARE NOT posted to a for profit site such as Ancestry.com.

Thank you for adding the info to Sr Mary's memorial so quickly! I'm quite happy she is linked to her family! :)
|Jeanette Richart||Rev. Tom Hoffman|
Thank you for posting Fr. Tom on Find A grave. I was able to meet Fr. Tom back in the '80's I ask him if he wanted to live as long as his mother. He said, "I hope not" - looks like he came very close. A wonderful person. Not related but shared some cousins with my husband. Jeanette Richart - Indiana
Thank you for transferring the memorial for Margie L. Flor Bode to me. She is my mother and she is greatly missed! I appreciate your quick response and I appreciate you setting up the memorial.

Thank you so much for posting taking and posting the photo of my Sister's gravestone. She is buried in Resurrection Cemetery, Oklahoma City. She is still missed each day after all these years. Thank you, again...when I ran across her gravestone photo it brought back so many memories!

I'm so sorry!
I accidentally spelled Harley's middle name incorrectly on the first edit!
|Don Dixon||RE: Thelma Doughty|
Many thanks for working Thelma and Ralph Doughty for me. It is unfortunate that OK has not put more of their records on the internet for use in research. It is only with the help of others such as yourself that those not in the area can obtain information on deceased kin folk.
On a different subject, I neglected to "thank you for your years of service to our country" and it's citizenry. It is your service and sacrifices that has enabled the country to grow and prosper.

|Ken Pascoe||Earl M. Wixson 92784869 - Gertrude E. 92784933|
Thank you for the above transfers.
As mentioned in my request Earl was married twice. I have now found that Lulu his first wife died in 1916 and is buried in Wisconsin 43557205. A child Vernon S. b.1910 I now believe became known as Clifford S. b.1910. Earl remarried (Gertrude) and there were two further children (Carolyn A. 1927 & Anna E. 1928)
Clifford S. Married Evelyn G. Anderson on 31 Aug 1933 in Jackson,Missouri. Both are now listed on my site and are believed to be buried somewhere in or near Tulsa City.
Clifford & Evelyn had two children: Steven E. b.1937 and James M. b.1940.
Can you advise where I may find burial records for deaths in Tulsa City a phone number would be enough as I can then contact them using Skype.
You and I seem to have similar interests traveling in RV's one in Usa and the other in Australia.
Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated
I can be contacted by email which is listed on my page.
