I have been researching & collecting data on my family roots for over 30 years. |
All of my photos may be used without asking. However, all the headstone photos have been contributed by Find A Grave volunteers who should be recognized accordingly, for their time, effort and expense.

Thank you for your thoughtful note! I'm so happy to have been able to fulfill your recent request!
It always makes my day to be able to assist others reconnecting with their past and finding those who had traveled this way long ago!
Best Wishes Always,

Thanks for releasing my edits!
I'm not related either, just came across them while looking for something else (I'm easily distracted!) and figured I'd send through links while I had the info on my screen.
No need to transfer -- thanks for all the work you've done - I know it takes time and it's much appreciated!

Glad I could help. I almost missed it. There was no head stone and this marker was half buried. The pot of flowers got my attention and I cleared away the overgrowth to find it.
There are many graves in this cemetery that only have foot markers and there are whole sections where they are overgrown with grass. You can detect this by stepping on them and in many spots the grass is yellowing and dying from the heat.

You are welcome!
I saw your request for a photo of Hillview cemetery in Greensburg, Westmoreland County, Pa.
Can you please confirm with the cemetery that this person has a stone?
I have walked the cemetery twice and did not find a stone.
If the person has a stone can you give me the lot number? Also, a couple of family names who are buried around them who have stones.
Per the sign at the cemetery the Hillview board of Directors number is 724 – 837 – 1930
I have been to the cemetery several times and the office never has a person there.

Glad to do it. I added a daughter; Mary D. and added pictures for a son; Thomas M. Did not find his wife's grave. I am sure it's in the plot, there was a broken marker nearby, could be hers.
