To make a correction on a memorial, use the edit tab on the individual memorial page. Generally, the only edits I won't approve are ones where the request doesn't make sense or something seems wrong (for example, the deceased is said to be six years old on her stone and the birth date you suggest is for someone much older).

To request a transfer, use the "suggest any other correction or addition" button on the edit tab of an individual memorial. You'll be directed to a page where you can send me an email through the site. For most of the memorials I manage, if you're more closely connected than I am, I'll transfer it to you regardless of whether you're a direct relative within four generations or not.

If you're unhappy to find a memorial for your loved one on FindaGrave, email [email protected] and ask them to remove it. Just keep in mind this does not prevent another person from coming in later and re-adding it.

Before going off at me for having photos of the gravestone or pictures to which you hold the copyright for on the memorial, check and make sure I was actually the person who put it up in the first place. This is a collaborative site, meaning anyone can add any photo to any memorial they'd like, whether they manage the memorial or not. [email protected] is the place to go if you have an issue with a photo.
