Bio

"Show me the manner in which a nation cares for its dead and I will measure with mathematical exactness the tender mercies of its people, their respect for the laws of the land and their loyalty to high ideals."
William Gladstone, 1879

I hope my humble contributions bring honor and respect to those who have gone so boldly before us and these memorials help others find their loved ones. And God bless all you wonderful contributors for all your time in adding these memorials. You are SO appreciated. Thank you for letting me contribute too. oxox

Related to and researching:
Byrd (Bird), Cain, Dillard (D'Illard), Edwards, Greene, Giddens, Hardeman, Hollingsworth, Hudson, Keith, Kuhlmann (now Coleman), Lott, Luiff (now Love), Mathis, McCall, McMahan, Maloy, Moore (O'More), Peacock, Roberts, Sweat (Swett, Swete, Sweatt, Sweet), Young and a plethora of others. Most are now living in and around "wiregrass" Georgia, Alabama and Florida, with some in the Carolina's, Virginia and Texas.
Even though I'm not blood-kin (adopted), am also interested in Ackman(n), Koethe, Strain and a few others from Pennsylvania that immigrated to Florida and Texas.

I have learned that it's usually not a good idea to link to "burial unknowns", with the exception of cremation, so, I'm going to respectfully refrain from doing so. Deepest apologies if this offends but the "unknowns" are causing too much confusion on this site. It's also one of the FaG rules here that actually make sense.

A great big *^*Thank You*^* to all who leave virtual flowers on my memorials. I try to do the same when I'm passing by. Hope your day is blessed.

"The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace." Numbers 6:24-26

"Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you shall be saved." Acts 16:31
