Born and reared in Michigan, married to the world's greatest husband, have three fabulous kids, FIVE wonderful grandkids and a precious great-granddaugher.

I try not to manage more memorials than I have added, so I am usually happy to transfer memorials for any reason.

If I have contributed something to a page and you wish it to be removed, you just have to ask. If I am contributing something, it is only out of a desire to help the family of the departed.

I am not anal about information posted on a memorial page. If it is information related to the person, go for it. Yes, the title of the site is "Find a Grave", but it also has "memorial pages". If there is something that you would like to have to help others know WHO that person was...where they lived, how they died, what they ate for breakfast...it belongs there, so they will be remembered...the purpose of memorials. If the person has no known grave location, no, you will not be able to FIND a grave, but FaG has a designation for that. The body is lost. For instance, I know where and when one of my ancestors died, but there is no headstone. He was buried on his farm, likely with a wooden marker that has long since disappeared. He still deserves a memorial page, in my opinion, if only to tell people the story of why they will NOT find a grave. Ever.
