I graduated from New London High School, New London, CT in Jun 1968 and enlisted in the US Army in Nov 1968. I retired from the Army in Mar 1990 and was employed with US Customs on the southern border in Aug 1991. I retired from CBP in Apr 2012. Since retiring I have gotten more in family history. I have traced my wife's family back to the year 1000 in England. I have mine back to 1752 in Virginia and ran into a wall. I know his name and his mother's name but cannot determine for sure his father's name or back further. I ride a motorcycle for fun and belong to the VFW Riders, American Legion Riders, the Blue Knights, and the Gold Wing Road Riders Association, as well as the PGR. I try to do all the flag escorts for veterans funerals in my area. For fun and practice I do look ups for other people for their family history.
