[About me] Wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, granddaughter, cousin, niece, educator [Interests] Genealogy, photography, history, knitting, traveling, reading, music, patient advocacy, social media, learning[Surnames] Pfaffendorf, Schmidt, Carlson, Ruaneburg(?), Bernhardt(?), Kruse, Brenneke, Frauhiger, Wasserman(n), Germeroth, Putzke (Also extensively researching husband's genealogy)____________________________________[Quotes] "There are 2 ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is..." [Albert Einstein] "Courage is not having the strength to go on; it is going on when you don't have the strength." [T. Roosevelt] "The LORD your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing." [Zeph 3:17]____________________________________[Memorial pages] Genealogy is my passion & I wholeheartedly believe we each deserve to be remembered when we are gone. This has become even more evident to me as I have strolled through cemeteries taking photos for FaG. I recognize each memorial created represents someone who is loved, & will take every care to create the page with respect in honor each person's memory. I have no motivation other than to help preserve the legacies of those who have passed before us.____________________________________[Photos] I would be honored to photograph your loved one's grave marker, memorial or final resting place, and will take care to shoot the best photo I am able. And though I would enjoy an easy stroll through any cemetery...I'm a busy, working mom with limited time for easy strolls. :-) Any information you can provide to locate the burial site in a snap is appreciated. Thanks!____________________________________[Transfers] I am happy to transfer any memorials within the FaG guidelines if they are not part of my own family tree. To make transfer requests: Go to the person's memorial page Click the "Edit" tab on the memorial page. Click "Suggest any other correction/addition" In the Message box, please include the F.a.G. Memorial# & your relationship to the person in your request Click "Send this message"____________________________________[Thanks!] Thank you to anyone who has created memorial pages for &/or added headstone photos to my relatives' pages...I appreciate all you do for FaG.
