Bio

I have been doing Genealogy for about 30 years off and on and about 5 years working on it daily since my children are grown and gone. My husband and I are both disabled so I have plenty of time to work on it. I have met some wonderful people on Find A Grave.

I have worked on Ivy Green Cemetery by going out to the cemetery and taking pictures and then creating the memorials and fixing the pictures to the correct size. Most of the time I could only work for 1/2 hour after driving there so it took me a lot of time. I have no family in this area but found this might be a way to repay those individuals who took pictures and put them on the memorials of my family in other parts of the country. I am trying to go to other cemeteries as soon as I can recover my strength and energy from back surgery.

Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations, this would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents as outlined in the FAQ answers at http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?searchArg=transfering+memorials&page=listFaqs#79. Simply having someone in your family tree is not grounds for a management transfer request. If you are not within these generations, I will help in putting any info you have on the memorial.

I really love family history.
