"...I can never be all the people I want or live all the lives I want..."
-Sylvia Plath
About me-
1 - I started on Find a Grave years ago after losing a best friend and finding the site. I began researching my family history online through multiple ancestry sites and through DNA testing. Over the last few years, a clearer picture of my family's past and true biological lines has emerged. In searching, I have found lost relatives and connected with the most beautiful people. I never knew how much love I would find!

2 -- You may see my name and digital respects of flowers left on FindaGrave member pages. Some are distant relatives, some are those whose lives I came across in research and I felt moved to pay respects. If you reach out to me, please keep in mind that I may or may not be related to the deceased memorialized on the page.

3--- I am in awe of the many volunteers on this site, who devote so much time and effort to provide photos and information on the final resting places of beloved family members and friends. There is great peace in finding out who/where you come from and seeing the resting places of your ancestors. Often, these memorials are significant sources of information on their lives and their deaths. Thank you for keeping this site going.

4- One day I will journey to the other side of the work done here. Please leave a kind note or flower on my page for my family. I have found messages left on my loved one's memorial pages to be comforting.

May goodness and joy be with you.- Donna
