I was born in Quincy, MA, in 1944, and have lived in Quincy, as well as in Newfane and Brattleboro, VT as a child, and Glastonbury and Vernon CT. My dad's first ancestors arrived in 1635 from Yorkshire and Dorset. On Mom's side, from 1685 from Warwickshire. I am retired, and had a career as a high school math teacher and later, as a software engineer.
I have close relatives still in New Brunswick, Canada, and in Ohio, where my mother was raised. Dad was born in Canada but was naturalized and served in US Army in WWII.
