Bio

Hi - I am Sheila Curlis Skidmore - I was born in Lincoln County, Kentucky - but have lived most of my life in Tennessee. I have been married for more than 50+ years and blessed with 2 wonderful daughters, 4 beautiful granddaughters and a precious great granddaughter born in 2023. When our daughters married - I focused my extra time on searching for long lost ancestors and the stories of how they came to America and stopped along their way in many different locations. Most of these families finally made their final settlement in Ohio and Kentucky.

Some of my other joys in life are growing daylilies - watching and attending sporting events, having friends and family visit and sharing our Family Tree with others in the family. I have also enjoyed being a contributor volunteer for Find A Grave.

Please let me know of any corrections or additions that need to be made to any of my memorials. For transfers - I don't subscribe to the four-generation rule. If I've added a memorial for one of your relatives or friends and they are not part of my family tree and you would like to manage it, please let me know and I will be more than happy to transfer the memorial to you.

Please feel free to use any of the photos I have posted for your family genealogy, including your tree on Ancestry.com. I would appreciate it if you would credit that you got the photo from my posting on FAG. You may NOT use my photos "for profit" or in any form of advertising without my express permission.

Lets all share with one another and be respectful of the mothers, fathers, children, and family members of the memorials we manage.
