I have loved old movies all my life. My grandmother always talked about the famous silent movie stars, and the stars of the 30's and 40's. My favorite thing to do when I was young was to scan the TV Guide on a lazy Sunday for old movies that I could watch one after the other.

The stars of these movies became like old friends to me and I will always be grateful to them for the many hours of joy and laughter they left behind. I am also grateful for the many hours of sadness and drama they left for us.
