Since retirement in 2015, I have been doing genealogy work, and Find A Grave goes hand in hand with the research. It's important to double-check the information to provide the best records for those who come behind us.
I created and maintained a high school class website since 1998 and recently added a Virtual Cemetery. Who would have thought it would be such a conversation starter! As you get older I think we all realize we want to know the "rest of the story" and a virtual cemetery can do just that.
We're all here to help one another and I can't think of a better way than to help people connect with their past. It's an important job, but it's also a great gift.
