Hi Rose Mary, I noticed you left a cross and roses on Gertrude's page. I was wondering if you are a relative of hers? My great grandmother was hired as a nanny to take care of her son John Leslie "Bud" Rundell since she died at such a young age. Later, she fell in love with his father, Jay Ralph Rundell. I don't have any photos of her, but have several of uncle Bud as a young child and grown man.
Dear Rose Mary, you are so welcome.

Dear Rose Mary,
I wanted to write last week,when I was leaving a memorial and noticed this BEAUTIFUL series of little kids you left on a gravesite.I didnt get to say anthing because one of my own kids distracted me.But tonight,I was leaving another memorial,for Donald Arthur "Donnie" DeLapp Jr.and I saw ANOTHER series you had left,this time with angels.I want to tell you how beautiful I think it is that you collect the series of pictures and then line them up.I do it too and it really is an art.I left such a series for Donnie,altho smaller.But I also try to match colors,or leave a memorial that is a continuation of color or however else I can do it.I always read about the person and try to leave something appropriate. BUt you are the real master.Even tho I know how to pick up memorials that are left by other people,I never pick up yours,because they are so unique and thoughtful,they belong to only you.THankyou for being such a COOL person.

Thanks for uploading her obituary on her memorial.. Now, not only do I have a few suspicions confirmed about her extended family, but I have a real good lead on locating a few I simply could not find!... This is just GREAT!... I'm still doing construction on her memorial, so it looks a little messy now... I'll get it organized and correct shortly! :-D
|Luana Dawn Alger||Re: Beatrice|
If you found a stone in Mount Washington Cemetery in Perryopolis, Pennsylvania with Arthur H. Swinhoe on it and Beatrice also on stone with no death date for her on it, then how is it that she is buried at Lake Park Cemetery in Ohio?... Did you find her stone in Ohio??... I'm guessing that she and Arthur may have planned for her to be laid beside him but since she passed in Ohio, this was not the outcome?... I don't like seeing when things like this happen, but I see it all the time. I am a firm believer that final arrangements for the deceased should curb to their wishes, especially if they went to the length of purchasing a plot with their names etched in stone upon it. It is a sad revelation when such services turn out to be more for the living with no regard to what the deceased wanted. Then again, there's no guarantee that she ever told anyone. Although we know that no one can outrun it, people never expect to die suddenly... Yet it happens all the time. :-(
Again, thanks for the info and Merry Christmas to you and yours!
