I started out doing this for family and friends and have expanded it to others also. I love doing the research. If I have made any errors or you want anything added or changed please feel free to email me!
I am researching the Kappelman's (Kappelmann's), Holmes, Kersbergen's, Lasschuit's, Wichhart's, Rohde's, McGauvran's.
Please use the edit tab and SAC to ask for a transfer or update.
Please use the edit tab on the memorial page for corrections, additions or transfers .
Find-A-Grave Policy on Transfers
Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations, this would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents. Keep in mind that the original contributor may also be related to the memorial and may not want to make the transfer. You may certainly request the transfer of memorials beyond the four generations, but the original contributor may choose not to transfer (the original contributor should make any corrections and add any addional information you have for that memorial, such as links to parents and spouses). Bulk surname requests should not be made.
Please take a moment and visit my beautiful mother Katherine Kersbergen
Thank you for leaving her flowers.
Please take a moment and visit my handsome nephew Frazier Rohde
Thank you for leaving Frazier flowers.
***PLEASE NOTE: "Real life" is taking up a lot of my time lately, so please understand if it takes me days or even weeks to respond to you. Thank you! :)***

I wanted to ask if it would be OK to use the headstone picture of Mary on my Ancestry.com page. She was my 2nd great aunt. I will be sure to give you full credit for the picture.
Thank you in advance!

Thank you for your quick response. I was shocked when I returned to the memorial today and saw how much was there. I was there 4 times yesterday and only 1 photo was showing, no visitor comments and barest of information for Howard. I guess the internet was having difficulties.
We did look for Howard in the 1990's using the telephone, leaving messages on answering machines. My husband was disappointed that we didn't find him because he and Howard spent a lot of time together as children. My husband and Howard looked very much alike.
Thank you again, sorry to take up your time.

My husband and I have been searching for family of Howard C. Long, Jr. The Memorial# 61908781 for Howard C. Long that you posted is him.
Is he part of your family?
Is the reason he is not posted in a cemetery because he was cremated?
Any help you can offer is greatly appreciated. We continue to search for his children and his siblings.

We looked again today with no luck :(. My husband and I are stubborn though and will reach out to the cemetery office for help locating where he is buried. We live just minutes away from this cemetery so it's no trouble at all. We'll keep you posted :)

My husband and I searched for William Kappelman today at PineHill Cemetery in Des Moines. We were able to find stones for Maude, Wesley and an F. Fern Kappelman but not for William. We will continue to search :).
Have a great night!

I have done the research on Charles #21402683 and found that his mother Evelyn Conjurski #11751655 as notified of his death in Vietnam. She is buried next to him. Please link. I have added it to the Edit tab. Still looking for Father. Also he was orginally from Michigan.
Thanks for helping,
