A dear neighbor got me interested in cemeteries while I was a child, she, her daughter and myself use to do Sunday drives and along the way we always stoped at a local cemetery.
Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there; I did not die.
If I should not be with you when the next sun sets, Don't mourn.I've had a lot of sunsets, and I've loved them all. But I have had such splendid things to love, You'll know I've had my share. Don't mourn. Just reach out to the world: Embrace it for me. Grab joy, but let it shine; it may be all that's left of me Still shining. And when rain dances, know thatI will be the dancing. Don't forget: I love you always. Still. LMcE
Location of Hardy, VA (Part 2) Hey Laurie, After I posted my message I checked and Hardy is in Franklin County and Bedford County and Roanoke County. Sorry. The cemeteries I'm researching are in Hardy in Franklin Co. There are cemeteries in Franklin Co. and Bedford Co. with the same name, unfortunately. Thanks.
