I do genealogical research and love to go to cemeteries. Valhalla Cemetery is 10 mins. from my house so I go there a lot.Other cemeteries I go to are Forestlawn - Hollywood Hills, Forestlawn - Glendale, Mt. Sinai - Hollywood Hills, Grandview -Glendale, Los Angeles National Cemetery, Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Hollywood and sometimes to Ft. Rosecrans National Cem. in San Diego.My pride and joy is doing research on all the Burbank boys who were killed in WWII, Korea & Vietnam from the City of Burbank who are listed on our local war memorial and also the boys from the City of Glendale, California that were killed. I aslo enjoy taking pictures of Medal Of Honor Headstones. The Surnames I am researching are: Mustion, Hilton, Miller,Coursey, Overturf, Cordell, Crouch, Longnecker, Freeland, Coldiron, Edwards, Hansen, Woodson, Jarrett, Arman, Vernor, Perry, Lock.|

I am researching some very distant relatives. Specifically Nellie Watkins Rogers, who I believe is this Jesse's wife. Here memorial # is 39576895. If you read her obit on her page you will see there is lots of info there. She and Jesse had 4 kids etc. I don't know if you are a subscriber to ancestry.com but if you are I also found a "Rogers Family Tree" owner: pdorathy who must be a relative of Jesse's also.This tree has his parents, grandparents names and more. I hope this info will help you get Jesse linked up with the rest of his ancestors instead of being all alone on his memorial page. I have not verified much of this info but I can tell for sure between all the info on his wife's memorial page and her obit on that page and the info in this tree, I know for sure these are at least some of his relatives. Thank you so much for what you do with findagrave it is such a blessing to those of us searching for our ancestors.

Linda - -Thank you very much for the photo. Your work is appreciate.
|Tom Brearton||Thank you!|
I'm pleased to add to the chorus of "thank you's" for your efforts in photographing so many grave markers, in this case for my grandmother Flora Jane Smith (GRid=85941704). She is the only member of my immediate family not interred at Forest Lawn - Glendale, so I don't get the opportunity to visit her grave site as often as I'd like or should.
Finding your photo on her memorial (and on her birthday) was a very pleasant surprise and very much appreciated!

Just wanted to say thank you very much for taking a picture of Alicia Jolson's grave marker. I just thought that the daughter of a legendary singer/actor deserved to be remembered. I am sure her father thanks you too! Joann

I saw your memorial for Michael #128028921 and was wondering if you knew him. I would love to have a photo of him posted to his memorial. I am working on the unit that he served in, trying to compile as many memorials and photos as possible for a reunion of survivors. Michael was a true patriot, and over 400 men like him died from The Jumping Mustangs Companies, during 1965-1971.

Thank you so much for posting the burial place photos of my cousin Debra Lampton for my family and me!
I thought it especially sweet of you to add the flowers and her name to the photo of her unmarked grave. It gives me a greater sense of her final resting place. And to take an additional photo of the burial locator marker was just icing on the cake.
Helping strangers in need is not only a selfless act of kindness on your part, it is also a cherished and priceless gift that you give to us.
May God bless you and yours in all your endeavors!
With heartfelt gratitude,
