I do genealogical research and love to go to cemeteries. Valhalla Cemetery is 10 mins. from my house so I go there a lot.Other cemeteries I go to are Forestlawn - Hollywood Hills, Forestlawn - Glendale, Mt. Sinai - Hollywood Hills, Grandview -Glendale, Los Angeles National Cemetery, Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Hollywood and sometimes to Ft. Rosecrans National Cem. in San Diego.My pride and joy is doing research on all the Burbank boys who were killed in WWII, Korea & Vietnam from the City of Burbank who are listed on our local war memorial and also the boys from the City of Glendale, California that were killed. I aslo enjoy taking pictures of Medal Of Honor Headstones. The Surnames I am researching are: Mustion, Hilton, Miller,Coursey, Overturf, Cordell, Crouch, Longnecker, Freeland, Coldiron, Edwards, Hansen, Woodson, Jarrett, Arman, Vernor, Perry, Lock.|

Bad news, Linda. I was at Inglewood this morning, and discovered that Lauren does not have a headstone. I will be adding a photo of the area only, with a sprig of artificial flowers to mark the spot. I hate when that happens! I think everyone deserves to have their grave marked. Sorry this one was not a more positive outcome.

Thank you so much for taking the time to take a picture of my niece's headstone. My husband and I were living in the area when she passed away but then moved to Oklahoma shortly thereafter and we had never seen her headstone. It is much appreciated.

Good morning, Linda,
Thank you so much for fulfilling my request for Harry & Lillieʻs grave stones... appreciate your time and effort very much...
|B.J. Waters||PS -|
My maternal grandparents and an uncle are at Valhalla. I go there sometimes (it's about 30 miles from me) but find it difficult to get plot info from the employees. They do end up giving it to me, with a plot map and directions, but they take forever and ask a lot of questions! I end up only doing 2 or maybe 3. Do you have that problem with them? Do they know you are a photo volunteer?

Hi again, Linda! I've claimed another one of your photo requests at Inglewood.
I just noticed your Virtual Cemeteries for Ia Drang. Thank you for gathering them together in one place. I saw the movie, read the book, and remember those battles from watching the nightly news back in the day. I hope to God we never have another conflict like that.
PS - I'm a U.S. Army vet.

Thank you so much for your help!
Would you be able to transfer Gideon Luke Roach to me, Find A Grave Memorial# 7384449. I would like to add a biography that includes all his wives and children. Thank you.
