Bio and Links
Bio Photo We completed a survey of all known cemeteries in McMinn County plus transcribed McMinn County death certificates from 1914-1955.
Surnames we are reseaching: Marvin's lineage = Templin, Click, Bryant, Sisk, Smith, Waddell, Gross. Samme's lineage = Carpenter, Simpson, Hutsell, Julian, Warren
Whenever we go out to fill a request, we try to take photos of a few of the surrounding burials. Never know when you might help someone find a lost relative. We also take tombstone pictures of any veterans we see, as we try to honor ALL VETERANS regardless of when they served.
A big "THANK YOU" to all the Find-A-Grave volunteers who have taken tombstone pictures for us.
We are always working on adding veterans to national cemeteries. Our way of honoring our veterans.
***** When asking for a memorial transfer, PLEASE PLEASE use "Edit" then "Suggest A Correction" instead of posting message here. Thanks*****

I have just posted the picture of her marker. Please excuse the darkness of the photo. I tried to brighten it as much as possible. Her entombment is outside and like others around her, the marker has weather due to nature.

Gertrude Wood
Hello Marvin & Samme,
Thank you for your spirit of generosity in terms of willingness to make transfers. Gertrude is a great aunt of a friend of mine, whom I have been doing genealogical research for. I have already made a few additions to her memorial - birth and death places and link to her husband, Alexander. Next up is to make a request for a tombstone photo.

Thanks for transferring management of my cousin's memorial to me. Now I can link him to his parents and son. I really appreciate that you transferred it to me, and even more that it was done so quickly!
