I was bitten by the genealogy bug when I was about 13 (that has been many years ago!). Since then I can't get enough of genealogy, history and research. I moved from Texas, where I was born to Alaska in 1971 then to the Seattle area in 1987 then to the Portland, OR area in 2005. Each time immediately getting involved in the local history.
I visit cemeteries whenever I have an opportunity including when I travel, and I take lots of photos.
Currently I am project partner on the Old Vancouver City Cemetery restoration project in Vancouver, WA.
