|planteverte||Typo in Ludington listing|
Thank you for the Find-a-Grave listing for Sybil Ludington. Please note that the British who burned Danbury were under the command of William Tryon, not William Tyron (though it does sound more like Tyrant and Tyranny!). There is a Fort Tryon Park in the north of Manhattan.
Thanks for contributions to Find-a-Grave!

|Beverley Bollt||Tony Pope and Dan Higgins|
Hello. My name is Beverley Bollt (in Florida) and I was married to Daniel Paul Higgins III. Dan and I have been divorced for many years but I was contacted last week by Human Services in Palm Beach County.
I'm trying to reach anyone who knows Dan and would be willing to contact me. Dan and Tony Pope were always dear friends and Dan worked for a time in Lantana for Gene Pope (Lois also).
I'd would greatly appreciate hearing from you or anyone regarding Dan.
|Barbara Hymas||Obit article|
Thank you so much, Anthony. I will still give you credit for the article. I'm so thankful for you and folks like you who care about the beautiful wilderness in our nation. We just returned from the Smokey Mountain National Park last week - wonderful! Alice Zahniser is still alive and is about 95! She's been a widow for a long, long time.
|Barbara Hymas||Howard Zahniser's obit|
I am writing a book about the Peverill family and Howard Zahniser married Alice Hayden, who is my father's first cousin. I was wondering if I could use the information you wrote about him on Find A Grave for my book? I would of course use "quotes" and give you credit for writing it. The book will be going to family members and I may donate it to a library or two, but will never be officially published and never for sale. Just let me know.
|Christy||Request from TV show|
I work on the television show Monumental Mysteries on Travel Channel and we are currently producing a segment of our show about Sybil Ludington. I saw that you had uploaded an illustration of her to this website, and I was hoping that you could tell me where you got it from.
We would be interested in licensing the image and I would love to discuss this with you further. Please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org
Thanks very much in advance.

Hi. May I use your cemetery sign photo and include it in a documents packet to be submitted with a DAR application? I've just submitted a photo request for the tombstone of Arthur W Richards but in any event would like to include the cemetery sign photo with the application. Thanks in advance!

I just saw a message from a relative that said, indeed, it was spelled "Greggory." Sorry for the criticism.

Are you sure it's "Greggory"? "Gregg" is a name in itself, not just a nickname.
Also, the rules for this site request that all photos be ones personally taken by the contributor. This is a professional photo of the couple, though it may be allowed under "fair use."
