|A Horan||Marlene & William Allison at ANC|
Several months ago, you requested a photo of the headstone for Marlene Allison at Arlington National -- I claimed that request and let you know that their stone was not in place, following Mrs. Allison's burial in March 2015. Normally, headstones at ANC take 4-5 months to be put in place, but, for some reason, theirs has now taken substantially longer than that. I was there today, and their stone is still not in place. I just wanted to assure you that I continue to check on their site weekly for you, and, once their stone is finally in place, I will photograph it, post the photos, and notify you.
Thank you for your continued patience!

I could not really tell - two years ago when I contacted church - man said that was Martha Beard - but that she had married - I can't tell- but believe it is Ashmore - her married name seems to be the reason your request was not answered before. In the Lawrence Co. Cemetery book - it says - Martha Ashmore - `1866-1935.

I am going to put photos on of what the Cemetery records show is her. Note the different last name - was she married? - I have done this before and no one would verify it. Brambles make it extremely difficult to get any photo of letters on the stone and the bush is starting to uproot the stone.

Hello. You have a few requests out for members of the Cauthen family in Dumas, Texas. However, you have the Section listed as Santa Fe which doesn't exist to my knowledge. Do you mind telling me where you obtained that information? Thank you so much. I'm hoping to get out tomorrow.

If you will call the Roselawn Cemetery office @ 615-893-2742 & ask for his burial plot location, I will go by the cemetery & take a photo of his gravestone.

Thanks. It is a gem, and why I took the picture despite not being related to this family. I wish all families in the 1800's had left behind this much information!
