I was born in Bluffton, Wells County, Indiana the 10th child of 11 children born to William Nesbia Pate & Nora Faye House Pate. I have a twin brother and 5 more brothers and 4 sisters. We moved to Arkansas in 1967 in Howard County, Arkansas, the area where my parents were raised. In the 9th grade a teacher in the Umpire School wanted the students to do their family trees. I did mine and have been reseaching the family tree ever since. I love to do it and go to the cemetery and see the names of people and the different kind of tombstones people buy. Some of my names are Bissell, Pate, Sanders,
Strasner/Stracener/Stracner, Barclay, House, Pinkerton, Granberry, Malicoat, Loomis, White, Stinnett, Bartlett, LeFevers, LaFevers.
I have been doing research for now 35+ years. According to records from the LDS church, which I figure is not true, for records kept back that far. I can trace my family back to 0006AD. I am a descendant of Marc Antony and Charlamagne (Charles the Great). The group at school was called YGR Youth Group Research. I work at the Umpire School as a Teachers Aide, a Facilitator for our Distance Learning Lab. I am also a Para Professional. I attend the Athens Holiness Church in Athens,Arkansas. I graduated from Umpire School in 1978. Umpire, it is the only town in the United States with that name. In 2008,at the age of 49, I recieved my High School Diploma.
