Lorn Thomas Quick
Quick family in LaSalle Co., IL
Thank you Donna. Teresa (nee Jeffery) Quick is my paternal great grandmother, daughter of George and Elizabeth (nee STEWART) Jeffery, wife of Ernest Alexander Quick both born in Essex Co., (Ontario) Upper Canada in 1861; where they married in 1881. They relocated to Marseille, LaSalle Co., after the birth of my paternal grandfather Maurice Adolphus Quick was born in Kingsville, Essex Co., Ontario, Canada in 1882. Two of his siblings were Burlington and Myrtle Quick that you transcribed from Riverview Cemetery's intermernment records. Infant Quick, I have no information about. My Quick family departed LaSalle Co., IL and returned to Essex Co., Ontario in 1902. By 1908 they settled in Monarch, southern Alberta Canada. Ernest died there in 1916; meningitis. Teresa out lived all of her children except her youngest; she died, aged 95, in 1957, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada; 9 of her Quick offspring had descendants. I have yet to prove whether Teresia/Teresa had 11 or 13 children. Teresia was a midwife. Teresia remains much respected by Quick descendants. Thank you, again Donna. You have helped. Are there gravemarker images for Burlington and Myrtle Quick at Riverview Cemetery, Marseille, LaSalle Co., IL.? Contact me at lorn.quick@me.com.

RE: Charles Day (Memorial# 21326348)
Donna,
The link to Cyrus has not yet been accepted by the memorial owner. Cyrus was the grandfather of Charles Henry Day, father of Mary Ellen (Day) Morford. See memorial 12288955.

Thanks!
Dale

RE: Charles Day (Memorial# 21326348)
Hi Donna, thanks for the note. Probably the best way of handling this is to keep the Day for the Surname, and inserting the following text in the bio area:

"Charles Henry Morford: son of Mary Ellen Day and Joseph Morford took the name of DAY after his mother passed away. Charles was raised by Cyrus until Cyrus died and then lived with his Uncle Silas and Aunt Martha Day."

Thanks,
Dale

Are you familiar with the Woodside Cemetery Association? Is it still functioning?
Do you know who the contact person would be?
Thank you!

RE: Mabel C. Wright (#18649330)
I have been collecting data for 20 years and this date was in my original records so I don't know where it came from. Just use yours and please don't use my name.
