Bio and Links
Bio Photo Family has always been a staying power in my life. I was closest to my Mommom (pictured with me) and my mother. Growing up I was very shy and they were the only certain people I would speak to. When my Mommom got sick in the summer of 1992, my world began to fall apart. The doctors were too late to do anything. The cancer was everywhere. When she passed away, I wanted to do something to honor her. A few years later, while watching the local Philadelphia news, they had a segment on websites. They featured Find A Grave. I knew what I had to do. Now I list all my family and friends that I have held so dear to my heart. A way to show the world how great they were in life and how wonderful they are in heaven.

I am a graphic designer, from Bridgeton, NJ, now living in England. I have had many great people throughout my life that have inspired me to become an artist. My Mommom, who taught me to never give up my dreams, no matter what. My Uncle Jack, who was a tremendous supporter of mine. A talented artist, himself, a great man with a huge heart and an addicting laugh, and last, but certainly not least, Mr. Robert "RJ" Johnson, a local artist, the father of my best childhood friend. I wanted to do what he did. His work was all over town and you couldn't miss it.

I posted the photo, do you want to create the other memorials for those people on he headstone?
If so, I'll save the photo and enter it on the next 2 memorials.

RE: William Wilmore Sr.
Hi, Shannon.
My connection to William Wilmore is a distant one (his sister Ruth Kelly married a cousin of mine, James Eddie Hands), so I'd be happy to transfer him to you.
Best wishes,
John

Mgmnt transfer - Ivan & Anna Shull
Hi, I just came across your notes from January, re the transfer of Ivan and Anna Shull. That's complete now, as well as the transfer of Mildred Shull Jordan. Now you can link up all three of the Shull girls - the twins, Mildred and Evelyn, and Leah, with their parents.

Thanks. That's fine with me. And what about Evelyn, Mildred's twin and Leah's younger sister. Del and Annette sent me a message that Evelyn died Aug 23 2005 @ 99. Then you'd have the 3 children of Ivan and Anna.

But I was referring to Johnny Choko Sr. I'm talking about the late 1930's when I was about 10.

Hi,
I can't link Leah to Ivan's memorial, since you can only link parents or spouse. However either I can transfer Ivan (#756169)and Anna's (#7564175) memorials to your management and then you can link them, or you can transfer Leah to me and I can link them up. I think you'll probably prefer the former. Let me know.

Incidentally, I do remember Ivan, altho' I was very young. Mildred and Harry Jordan were my Aunt & Uncle. Harry was my mother's brother. And I remember John Choko (Sr). He was the playground supervisor at the school playground behind my house in Newark when I was in late grammar school. My mother told me he was a cousin - I didn't know what woodpile relatives were!

I uncovered Anna and Ivan's grave while in the cemetery looking for Mildred and Harry.

* Better late than never - an old adage *

Hello Shannon, I apologise for not getting back to UR message sooner. Have been off-line since June 18th, until a couple of weeks ago. Still trying to do catch-up & acknowledge my findagrave friends.

Sure hope UR 4th of July & Labor Day were special days for you. Mine were so-so, but did enjoy the days off.

Will say 'bye for now' & have a great week.

* Babydoll *
Hello Shannon, I found this precious 'Bunny' when Rosie K listed PETS on her V/C for May 13th Angel days, otherwise, I would never have found her. My Grandson was born May 13th on a Friday, I was pleased that no one had sponsored him/her before I did & happy that I could add him to my Pets. My deepest condolences for the loss of another of UR pets. Such grief to go thru, but we will always remember our pets on Findagrave & I'll be watching for the memorial so that I may add a cute token of love.

Best regards, my friend, since I am taking the liberty of adding U to my list, with pleasure, hope u don't mind & hope U do the same. Have a very nice Sunday afternoon.

Photo Request
Hi Shannon,
I fulfilled your photo request for John C. Hollingshead Sr. (1946 - 2007) today. I just wanted to leave you a message to let you know that I took a closer-up photo of his gravestone than the one I posted on the profile (didn't realize that the page had hit its max). I also took a photo I thought you might be interested in, of Nettie Hollingshead (1924 - 1985) who is buried next to John. If you want me to send you these two other photos, let me know and I will. :)
