---
My name is Laura and I am married to Charles Lear. We have four daughters Elaine, Debra, Kerri, and Janet and nine natural grandchildren
and two by marriage.

I am interested in music, writing, grandchildren, and geneaology. I love to cook and do needlework, but I am not very good at the latter. Our church, West Rome Baptist, is very important to us.

In the last 8 years, I have lost both my parents, had two bouts with cancer (both curable and unrelated), and was was nearly killed in a headon collision. My life had been fairly sheltered before that and it was all quite tramatic. However, it is not in my genes to give up, and I am actually in excellent health now.

We are both lifelong residents of this area, Rome, GA, which is 70 miles north of Atlanta. Ours is a beautiful city and many good people.
It is a city of seven hills and 3 rivers. The
Etowah and Oostanola Rivers meet in downtown Rome and form the Coosa River.

I am very proud of my family and want others to know of them.
