Bio

I have been an Ancestry.com subscriber since 2001. I have hunted for my ancestors since early 1990s (without computer at that time) and helped friends find graves as well as made digital pics for them when time allows.

My ancestry on my mother's side goes back to Elizabeth Foote & Josiah Churchill of Connecticut and New England. Her grandparents were Annie Eliza Churchill & Jeremiah David Hudson who was born in or near Ringgold, VA. My father's parents were Hawkins Elizabeth Perry & William John Rogers of Raleigh, Wake County, and Durham, NC.

I live in Thomasville, Davidson County, NC, born in High Point, Guilford County, NC. High school graduate, previous medical transcriptionist and now fully retired. Both parents are deceased (Annie Lucille Hudson & Willie Buck Rogers). I have a daughter and son and two granddaughters.

NOTE: Sometimes I will start a memorial for pics I have taken of grave sites near one that has been requested just to get them on line for others to see. These are usually not a relative of mine and I will gladly transfer management of them to another member. Just let me know. Also, you are welcome to use photos I post.
