|I have been interested in geneology and family research for several years. In the past several years, I have been entering listings for persons found in the local obituaries and also many of the local cemeteries. I would be very happy to add links or additional information to any of my listings. Thank you to everyone for providing additional information.|
Please use edit tab for any corrections. It makes it easier to make revisions. Links, revisions and corrections sent in messages may not get taken care of very quickly.
Before asking for a transfer, PLEASE read the FAG guidelines and rules. If you are requesting a transfer, PLEASE tell me how you are related so I can determine if the transfer will be made.
Due to the large number of people requesting transfers just so they can control a distant family member, I'm limiting my transfers to IMMEDIATE FAMILY, meaning parents, siblings, and grandparents, and I would appreciate being ASKED nicely to transfer instead of receiving demands. Please realize that you can't expect to have every single family member page in your care as there are thousands of contributors on this site and trees do overlap. I do not control every one of my relation on FAG, and don't expect to.
Also, if you have nothing to add to the memorial, and just want to have the page because they are related, there's no need for a transfer. Unless you have extensive changes to be made, please just ask for links or additions to be made. I have a lot of time and sometimes costs for travel, etc. involved in my listings so I prefer to keep them unless they are direct family. If the person happens to be related to me, the transfer won't be made, but I will do corrections or additions.

Thank You for taking the photos of the Ladd gravestones in the Reinbeck Cemetery.
MANY thanks for photographing Peter J. Petersen's and his wife Minnie's graves. They are grandparents of a retired teacher in IL who will be receiving his "family tree" as a birthday present at the end of the month. He's not seen these markers ever!
I don't know if you can help correct an error on the Reinbeck Cemetery site, but Donald L. Petersen, Purple Heart recipient, is the son of the above named Petersens. However, he is linked to Jens Petersen and his wife Minnie--an understandable mistake given the coincidence in names. I just thought it should be right, but I am new to this and not sure how to fix it.

Thanks for the photos of my great-great-grandparents. Keep up the good work!

Thank you for adding the information on this memorial. I hope you have a wonderful week.

I am researching the Melka surname for a close friend. Last night I noticed two duplicates (132649644 & 132642879). I looked at one of the posters profile (DMD) and noted he/she has a history of duplicates and screw-ups. I emailed him about it and he/she responded odd answers. Also the other memorial poster (BRAUN) sent him/her some terse comments about his/her behavior.
DMD has deleted our comments to him.
This afternoon I noticed that DMD has since COPIED YOUR PHOTOGRAPH from the BRAUN posting to his posting. Your name is missing.
There is something odd going on here and I am not sure why or how. I have no dog in this fight but find DMD's behavior strange.
On a totally different note: I am actively researching your surname. My Schneiders come from the Kentucky/ Ohio River Valley area. Yours??
