I am writing the first book from the American point of view about 19th century rotunda panoramas. These were the biggest paintings in the world, 50 x 400=20,000 square feet, housed in their own rotundas which were 16-sided polygons. Chicago in 1893 had 6 panorama companies and 6 panorama rotundas. Seek information about Mrs. Vandercook's ancestor, Dr. Andrew James Park (Auburn NY 1826/1916 Oak Park, Illinois),Harvard Medical School Class of 1852.Dr. Park was Commissioner of the Palestine Exhibition Company of Chicago, which produced three units of JERUSALEM ON THE DAY OF THE CRUCIFIXION panorama, made in William Wehner's studio in downtown Milwaukee in 1886 (Chicago debut)1887 (Minneapolis debut)and 1888(Buffalo debut, later London) Info to share.

Not sure if you like putting a face with your work or not, but I added a photo of my great grandparents to their memorial page and thought you might be interested in the face behind the headstone. I cannot tell you how thrilled I was to find your headstone photo of my great great grandparents!!! If you update the site where I obtained their headstone pictures you are more than welcome to use the picture I posted to their memorial.
|William A George Jr.||Caroline Adams Pratt|
Do you happen to have the picture of the Grave of Caroline Adams Pratt? If so I was wondering if you could be able to email me a photograph of the grave marker. Thanks so much

Jeenie Kinsey Dunn, #6442592, interred Evergreen Cemetery. Have taken photo of memorial, but hesitate to post as dates on stone are 1875-1971.
If this is the correct Ms. Dunn, you can contact me via my email and I'll forward the photo to you for posting.
Memorial is in Section 6.
|Linda Ryan||Leonora Temple Hoyne photo|
Do you have any information about the location of the grave of Leonora Temple Hoyne in Rosehill Cemetery? I was there today and was told she was not in their database. Obviously she is buried there since you have taken a picture of the monument. Next time I go to Chicago I'd like to see the grave.
|Barbara McGirr||Rosehill Cemetery|
Thanks for all the posting you have done. Those of us far away are grateful. Question, do you know the best way to get permission for a headstone picture from Rosehill? Appreciate your time.

I was looking for a photo for Elmer Belsan Grave 86950370
In the Bohemian National Cemetary.
You posted a pick of the Cemetary Entrance and once a pic is posted another cannot be requested. Is there anyway you could seek my grandfathers grave out and post a pic? My mother, who no longer is able to travel, as would I would like to see. I remember visiting once on a childhood visit to area.
