|I will transfer graves if you specificaly tell me how your related, don't ask if you are only going to say he/she is related to me. I will follow the guidelines based in the helps section "How do I get a relative's memorial transferred to me?"|
Also understand if you are just a few months NEW to FAG or have only a very few memorials, I will probably NOT transfer any memorials. It seems folks join, then quickly loose interest or feel everyone should hand over their work so they don't actually contribute much, when it says memorials created 5 and memorials managed 150, that usually means they are all transfers : (
A portion of the of the memorials listed here are from records which I ran across in research of my own family, and wanted to give them a spot to be remembered as well. Others were given to my by FAG to help maintain after the passing of a dear archivist. I appreciate your help in correcting and improving any memorials I have listed.
If you find mistakes or want me to make additions, please use the edit tab on the memorial to let me know. I will gladly make corrections/additions. Please send memorial numbers when requesting links.
Please observe the livings right to privacy. When posting obituaries with memorials I ask that you not publish the survivors listed unless of course you can verify that all survivors have passed as well.
Per FAG FAQ
Can I add an obituary to my interment listing?
You should not copy obituary notices from newspapers to an individual's memorial record unless you have permission from the newspaper to do so or you are the author of the obituary. If the obituary is added to the memorial record, it should list the newspaper and date the obit was printed for example "Published in the Hattiesburg American, Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Internet Edition, April 11, 2007". Please do not include the names of living or surviving relatives in the biography, unless you have their permission. If you do not have permission to copy an obituary to a memorial, you may put a note stating the name of the newspaper and the date the obituary was published.

I've posted photos of the gravestones you requested, as well as several of the same family name in that lot. Do you know how they are related? Based on the dates, they could either be children or grandchildren, or nephews.

You are most welcome.

It was my pleasure! It's frustrating for both the photo volunteer and the requester when I encounter sunken grave markers. If you're interested, read the Wiki article about the cemetery - if it wasn't true, it would be hard to believe. Thankfully the cemetery is now beautiful and it's managed by some very caring owners. The cemetery gave me clear instructions to locate his grave but it appears that his (and other family members) markers have sunk and are beneath the grass. I was told that other LeGores are buried near him. There was a period when the cemetery was mismanaged and it wasn't uncommon for this to happen. The orange flag in the center of the photo designates a sunken marker. Family members (but not photo volunteers) may contact the cemetery to request having a probe done and having the markers brought to the surface. Cemetery contact info is on my profile page.
