Bio

I am a descendent of Francis Hall. His BIO is in the book 'Hall's of New England' Francis arrived from London, England to Massachusetts Bay, Boston on the ship Hector, June 26,1637. He came to America from Milford. county of Surrey, That is my maternal grandfather 9th back. Surnames of my family are Hall,Rhoades,Mann,Noble,Hayes,Agnew, Holtz,McClean,Wallace,Clark,
Price,Knapp,Burgess,Guyot,Bourquin
,Reichard/Richard,Bushe,Yarbrough
,Strait,Witherspoon,Swayze,Meeker,
Meachum,Swift,Minnick,Decker,Younger,
Pankey,Terrill,Morgan just to name a few.
My paternal grandfather Moses Andrew Mann I am still working on that side, I can only trace
back to his grandfather Charles Mann from Indiana to Cedar County,Missouri. Charles's
wife Louisa Williams I have had not a problem tracing the ancestors back to her 3rd great grandparents Robert Williams from Marion, Pembrokeshire, Wales and Gwen Cadwallader.
I got interested in my heritage when my grandmother Lucy Clark (Mrs. Moses Andrew Mann) told me her father served on the House of
Reps. in 1894 for Bourbon County,Kansas.
It just amazes me to think of how hard my ancestors worked to get our family to where
we are today. Most of my immediate family
are now located in southeast Kansas and
southwest Missouri. I am always looking for cousins (and have found a few on ancestry.com.
