May be in error I fulfilled a request for photo of Margarita Kempf from Holton Cemetery off Marvin Rd. I found the stone, snapped a photo, and just uploaded and found that a pic was already there for the memorial. Both say "Margarita Kempf" and the same birth and death dates. However, the stones look completely different. In one the letters are raised and the other they are etched into the stone. If you feel my photo is taken in error, please feel free to remove it and please accept my apologies.
Minnie Bell Clark Hello! My name is Kaitlin Cordrey and Minnie Bell is my great-great grandmother on my father's mothers side. I would greatly be interested in any information you have on her or her family. THank you so much for your time! Please feel free to email me...firstname.lastname@example.org Thanks! Kaitlin
I am really intrigued with the picture you posted on Willamm E. Church's site...the farm picture. Any idea where that is? I am pretty familiar with Holton as my grandmother still lives there (born, raised, moved for a short time, and has been back there since 1970).
RE: Church ay Holton Cemetery I have also found an infant daughter of Daniel and Lucelia Church, named Loretta, buried at Bethel Cemetery in Lagrange Co. Indiana. She died Sept. 7, 1860 at the age of 1 year.
RE: Church ay Holton Cemetery Do you have Microsoft Word? I would like to send a Microsoft Word Document to your e-mail. It is a short biographical sketch of Daniel D. Church from a history of Muskegon Co. Michigan. I will also get to the Records Center at the courthouse in Bryan Ohio to get the Guardianship records. Remember I told you that Daniel's father (William Church) drowned in Williams Co. Ohio in 1839; Daniel and a sister had guardians appointed after his death and the record is there.
RE: Church ay Holton Cemetery This is the information I got from the Muskegon Co. RAOGK volunteer: "in oakwood cemetery located in Holton township we have the following "Church family plots"
Engle Angeline Church 1878-1939 Church George A. 1875-1939 Daniel D. 1832-1918 Lucelia 1839-1913 Eugene D. 1872-1946 Blanch C. 1874-1921"
These are the wife, sons and daughter-in-law of Daniel D. Church, who is actually a cousin of my 2-greats grandmother Snow. I see that some of these names match your memorials in Holton Cemetery. There is also an Oakwood Cemetery in Holton twp. on Find A Grave. Are they the same cemetery (I created memorials for them at Oakwood)? If that is the case, we are almost certainly distant relatives!
Church at Holton Cemetery I am also a Church descendant; my 3-greats grandmother was Sarah Mariah (Church) Pool(buried in Williams Co. Ohio). Of course I don't know if these are the same family. I am looking for a Daniel D. Church, d. 1891, who is buried somewhere in Holton twp. Daniel was the son of one of Sarah Mariah's brothers.
