For your blanket Permission to use pictures. Horace England Bell & Charline Elizabeth "Lissie" Graham are the parents of my brother-in-law Marvin Deryl Bell. Appreciate it.

All of these Mealor's are my Grandmothers Leona's family. If it is not to much trouble, I would like them transferred to me. Thank you for your work

Hello Ed. I would like to take over the care of my great-great aunt's grave (FIG ID 99916362) and add her to her siblings and parents. Thanks.

RE: John Dootson
I appreciate the offer, but I live in MD and don't get to Athens much anymore. The Dootsons are my relatives through my 2nd great aunt. I found out about John while searching the Georgia newspaper archives for closer relations (specifically my 2nd great-grandparents, Elijah Lafayette Dottery and Mary Hannah Culp). The WOW monument further caught my attention, as I had never heard of one before, being fairly new to genealogy. I was glad to tie the memorials together from the data I was able to find.

At the time, I was looking for Mary Hannah Culp's first husband, Bowles Wesley Parr (1842-1864). I hoped that looking for their daughter, Martha J Parr, would help me find him, and I ended up finding the info on John Dootson.

My mother grew up in Athens, having been born there in 1927. Would there be anything I might have (or could find) that would be helpful to you or others in line with my more direct relations that lived in Georgia?

RE: John Dootson
Thanks for adding the photos to his memorial, Ed! You are right, it doesn't look WOW-ish at all. Tastefully done though.

The photo showing the UGA stadium in the background is really cool!

Glad you are feeling better.
