A Find-a-Graver since the site's origins as the hit for notable graves--not genealogy--I do "Famous" bios, and photograph/write about old gravestones, cemeteries, and the people interred within for the general reader. Will cheerfully answer queries, make corrections, add data to the "Family Links" section, and include other relevant info ASAP. Please no requests to insert multiple hyperlinks in the narrative part of the bio or to transfer pre-1900 burials. Find-a-Grave members can always include any grave listed on the website in an ancestral or other type of grouping by using the "Virtual Cemetery" feature. If you wish to quote me or use my photos, please contact me; attribution for written pieces is "by Nikita Barlow, for Findagrave", and for photographs, "Photo by Nikita Barlow". Thanks for your cooperation, and happy graving!

Can you please delete memorial 93736598, as it is a duplicate of one I added 6 years earlier.

Thanks so much, Nikita. That would be wonderful.
I would love to get there myself, but I don't know when that might be. . . It looks like a lovely old churchyard, from what I can see in google maps.
Best wishes, Beth

Nikita, Thanks so much for posting such wonderful items!
I have a question about the memorial for Caleb Duxbury, who was buried at Christ Church Cemetery, Belleville, NJ. The quote is FANTASTIC and has some great hints for research, going further. Could you tell me where the information came from? Is it from a book, or other cemetery inventory?
Thanks very much,

HART, Charity d. 4 Mar 1865, aged 100 yrs, 0 months & 22 days; widow of Napthali
A cemtery transcription was made in 1917 and a complete list of existing headstones at its publication. There was no other Charity Hart on the list. I believe your memorial is the same person.

Swain(e) is my 6th great grandfather through Captain Abraham Ogden (5th), then his son Abraham (my 4th great grandfather. I am having great difficulty finding the grave site of Abraham Ogden (4th) born between 1751 and 1761 in Orange and married Sarah Lindly in Nov 1792 in Chatham. Their son Jeptha Lindley Ogden (third great grandfather) b 24 Jul 1795 Morris, NJ moved to my area of Ohio and died after several marriages in 15 May 1877. Abraham 1751 is the missing link that I haven't found. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks Nikita. The snow is just a product of the season. I review cameras for a living and need to get out in the field to shoot year round. We had an awful winter and I was trudging through hip deep snow on more than one occasion.
I hope to get back and photograph that one again. The shot that worked the best for me was one I took just for myself (ie, not for a review) with a 1950 Rolleiflex TLR. The film transport can get wonky on the first frame which resulted in a partial double exposure. http://jimfisher.smugmug.com/2014/2014-02-02-Mount-Pleasant/i-S6X9fn9/A
Have seen your work on other memorials--you've got a great eye and am happy to see your note.

Mr. /Mrs/Miss and/or Ms N. Barlow;
Hello across the North River!
Thanks, I guess that is the best word here with four letters for your very curt inter-mail.
Having a name given at birth given to me on a Certificate as well, it was/is showing.
I to my knowledge am the only one , well I have certified documentation from 321 a.d. that none of my kinsmen have had my name either.
Maybe you do not know how to address people properly nor well. Or is it the time you have to use.. what 8 NJ NANO Seconds..
Deleting the photograph on the Find a Grave memorial from the memorial which you made, was a simple menial task. But why did not you list the URL and/or Find A Grave #? Glad I am not sending you Billable hours. Even you make a lot of mistakes. Look over your additions on Ancestry.
Your work on here is ok. But the way you IMHO ask sure needs a lot of professional learning. Threats as you used are a libel situation.
I never saw you at Princeton nor Harvard before the administrations have changed. I guess you did not not have nor, obtained any Doctorates.
See you are not in the SAR even. You may want to join, if your able to.
Hope this helps you more now.
Will pray for you to have vision, patience, and learn a lot more.

The duplicate on Frankie Silver is a relative of mine. I wish for you to add her parents. I will delete my website of Frankie if you will do that. I have her siblings listed on my website. Her # is 62953406. Sincerely, Roger 46801633
