My name is Lill. I live in Tennessee with my husband Jim. I was born here, he was born in Chicago. I have always loved cemeteries and Jim has learned to love them because he's helped me search for headstones and taken so many pictures for me. He does all the work, when a headstone needs to be cleaned or if one is in a hard to find area he's the one that searches it out. Without his help I could not have added so many pictures. I started adding people to find a grave when my Mom, Gertrude Schubert passed away. I'd been researching my family for many years and when I found this site I decided to add the names of people I had the most information on. I try to make each memorial special because I've been blessed by having so many special people in my life. If I've added you to my friends list, it's because I wanted to remember a special person or cemetery you added. I really appricate all the notes and flowers left for my family and friends. Please know that if you had met them in life you would have liked them, well 98% of them anyway.
RE: Roach/Whisonat family Lill For some reason Roots Magic isn't accepting your Aunt's photo. Could you please send a photo of her (and possibly Sam) to my regular email email@example.com? And give me a last name too- there's about 2000 people on this branch. Thanks for everything. Hope you had a Merry Christmas and that you have a Happy New Year! Happy hunting!
Roach/Whisonat family Hi Lill, Thanks for the contributions which you have made here on Find-a-grave, they help a lot! I'm researching Samuel Urenus Roach's family as they tie into my Faulkner branch. Sam's my 3rd cousin twice removed. I'd like your permission to use the photo of your Aunt Tunce- as you know it helps bring them back to life for those in extended family. Also, do you by chance have a photo of Sam? Thanks again and have a merry MERRY Christmas and safe new year. Happy hunting! Mary Noles Triplett
RE: Findagrave Photos Lillian, I am researching my Thaxton roots right now and the one photograph that I have found right now is Norma Jean Thaxton, wife of Donald Edward. They are buried in Burningtree Memorial Gardens in Decatur, Alabama. Her maiden name was Webb but I think she was a Walker before she married Donald Thaxton. Becky
Findagrave Photos Lillian, thank you for all your contributions to the Findagrave website. I would like permission to use your photographs of my relatives' grave sites in my Family Tree files. I use the photos as source media and will gladly give you credit for your work. Becky
Hello Thank you for getting back to me. I have talked to Robinett family members and there is a lot of things they do not have I am in need of. I just thought you might have some of the stuff we need out here.
Laura G Ladd Graves Thank you so much for posting Laura's gravesite. She is the twin sister of my great great grandmother and through different family trees I now have a picture of Laura so I'm hoping that she looked a lot like Julia!! I can't seem to find any pictures of her, so this will have to do! But it's nice to know what happened to her twin and where she's buried.
RE: Richard Waterhouse Sorry to hear about the state of the cemetery. Thank you so much for letting me know. Do you know if there are any groups that work on restoring old cemeteries in that area? Thank you again, Beth
