Some say 15 Aug 1844 for a birth date for Samuel Alexander Murphy. They appear to be more closely related than myself and the year certainly fits.

Hi, Here is an update for Samuel Alexander Murphy.

Born: 1844 in New Hartford, Oneida, New York, United States

Hi there

I was looking to fulfil your photo request but couldn't find any graves as early as this in the Cemetery. On checking I discovered Bexleyheath Cemetery was not opened until 1879 which is after the dates of death. Are you sure they are buried here?

I have posted a photo
The cemetery is also important internationally as it contains the Polish War Cemetery and was the historical burial place of General Sikorski ( the wartime leader of Poland ) whose body has now been retuned to Poland, but whose memorial remains.

The Cemetery currently has both areas for burials and a Garden of Remembrance for cremated remains.

It now also has a Memorial to the Fallen of Newark commemorating those military personnel who lost their lives in conflict since 1914.
Commemoration and Honouring the memory as our fitting tribute to them, the dark days of the 2nd World War.

The British, Commonwealth and Polish who also join up with the RAF. Many were Killed who resting place is Newark Cemetery, Newark On Trent, Nottinghamshire
