I served in the U.S. Air Force and am now disabled and retired. I love genealogy and history. In my research I have discovered I am cousins with 8 Presidents, Gen Stonewall Jackson, Robert E Lee, and have direct ancestors who fought at Gettysburg, The war of 1812, & the revolutionary war. I love the surprises and many new finds every day. I began studying my family tree in the mid 80's. Ancestry and Find a Grave have been two of the biggest treasure's I have found to help in that endeavor. Find a Grave has also been a great way to honor my family that have passed. Very rarely will I post a memorial that is not related or I do not know personally. I do not play the numbers game. I will post photos of tombstones to memorials that already exist and/or are requested.
