I have been a member of FindAGrave.com since November 2001.
I first came to FindAGrave when I felt sad that I could no longer put flowers on my brother and son's graves after I moved away from Arizona. Knowing that I can leave virtual flowers for loved ones has helped me tremendously.
My grandsons and I are members of the Evergreen Cemetery Society and are caretakers of the Paupers Cemetery here in Colorado Springs.
You are welcome to copy pictures of gravestones that I have added and please don't hesitate to ask me to link relatives for you. For transfer requests; please let me know how you are related. I add the Gazette obituaries when time permits.
If you are requesting a specific update to a memorial I have created that cannot be done through the Edit button; please provide the Memorial Number (its a quicker way to pull up the memorial than searching by name).
Since I joined FindAGrave.com, my Mom passed away. It would mean a lot to me if you would leave a virtual flower for my Mom: Andrena Kellwood (2004) and my son, Christopher Andrew McDaniel (1975).
Jean partridge collins I see you have posted a photo of Jean Collins Partridge. I'm researching Partridge ancestry & would like to see a photo of Jean's father Lee Partridge. Do you happen to know where I might find one?
tombstone pic It gives me great pleasure the thank you for getting the photos of Charles Higley markers. It rare today to fine wonderful caring people like yourself. Have a great day, you made my day. Sincerely,
Grace's mother Karen, is my cousin. I have been doing genealogy work and found your Find A Grave memorial (# 18106292). Your memorial does not have the burial location for Grace. She is buried at St. Joseph's Cemetery in East Bristol, WI. This unincorporated village is where Karen and her family grew up. Another Find A Grave memorial for Grace can be found under # 53974280. This memorial has pictures of the headstone, both front and back that may interest you.
I know that it is possible to merge the two memorials. But I don't know the exact process. Perhaps "Debra" from the second memorial may know how to do this, but you would need to contact her. Or, you could just edit your memorial to reflect the burial location.
I have a request.......May I use your posted picture for my Ancestry.com tree? Thank you for your Find A Grave posting and kind words.
