Bio and Links
Bio Photo What a great feeling to help others connect with ancestors. And often the reward comes in being able to meet new relatives online as well.
If I have entered your ancestor and you wish to manage the memorial, send me a request via the "edit" tab. I am pleased when that can happen. I am glad to update or add information and make corrections to what I've placed on memorials as well. While it's good to use the "guidelines" for management, I do not consider this a religion. Be kind to others as life it too short to be nasty with one another.
And feel free to use any photos I've taken of your family's stones on your other projects.

RE: Samuel Gilliland, 2nd husband of Sarah Johnston Gilliland
The information actually is on Sarah Gilliland's memorial, # 66064071; her maiden name, Johnston, should be added to the memorial. All of the children listed on Sarah's memorial actually are by her 1st husband, John Beresford Gilliland, born 08 Mar 1777 in Belfast, Antrim, Ireland, died 11 Jun 1848 in Jackson County, Ohio (no known gravesite). John Beresford Gilliland is not related to any of the other Gillilands/Gillelands in Jackson County, Ohio. Samuel Gilliland (Memorial # 7818092) is her 2nd husband; his middle name is unknown (not Beresford); and he was born in Virginia, not Ireland. He was first married to Sarah Krouskop (Memorial # 7818394), by whom he had all of his children. Confusing! I did send info by Edit buttons, but...Thank you for making changes...Kathy McCloud

I provided you with an incorrect birthplace for Samuel Gilliland (who actually is a Jr)...he was born in Virginia, not Ireland. Sorry!!

Yes, I believe Cindy's mother is alive... and Cindy's sister lives here in town. I will email you her name address, and phone number tomorrow.

I have touched bases with so many people with genealogy for the last 25+ yrs... I am supposing we have.. crossed paths before.

RE: Recent request for Hutchinson
No I'm not related so transferring is not necessary. I am just working on a history project, but thanks for the offer.

I was very pleased to receive your nice note regarding the memorials of Enos Vaughn Beamer and his wife Mary Ann (Barger) Beamer.
I try very hard to add as much information to the memorials that I am given care of or that I myself post.
Believing that this is a "pay-it-forward" type of gesture I want future researchers to have a sense of the persons they are searching for.
Thank you again,

RE: George Santillan request
I like walking this cemetery, it's not too big yet. Bill Keane the Family Circus cartoon artist is buried there. I have no doubt we'll find him. No need to do extra searching.
