Bio and Links
Bio Photo Shortly after the Moravian Church in the small town of Aurelia, ND. closed in the early 70's, an association was formed to look after the cemetery.
It was renamed the Aurelia Community Cemetery. I was elected to the board a few years later when one of the original members died. About ten years ago I helped my sister work on our family tree and now when I found Find A Grave, I realized how helpful it could have been.
This information was mostly taken from the tombstones at cemeteries I have visited, with some added from our family tree and ND death index files. I also get information from the Mouse River Loop Genealogy Society, of which I am a member. Most of these cemeteries are located in northwestern North Dakota.
With over 75,000 names in about 675 cemeteries, I'm sure I have made some mistakes. If anyone finds any errors or has more information let me know.I have photos (about 60,000) of the markers of most of the graves added in the last few years. I do not have time to add all these pictures but if someone requests one I will gladly add it if I have one. Please put Find A Grave in subject line.
Most of the obituaries I have added are from local funeral homes or old newspapers with their permission. All pictures that I have added were taken by me personally.

Rrequest Jonas Ingebretson Linked to Father
Hi there,
Jonas Ingebretson is the son of Ingebret Ingebretson, FG Memorial # 27848986. Both interred side-by-side in North Ox Creek Cemetery, Rolette County. Also, you might want to verify Jonas' birth year since his headstone shows 1871 versus 1870.
Many thanks in advance.

Eileen B Hazelbower
Hi Herb,

The Ruth E. Nelson and Alfred E. Nelson in Trinity Lutheran are not that parents of Eileen B. Hazelbower (Nelson). Not sure how to correct that but Eileen is actually buried with her parents in Rosehill Minot,ND.

Eileen Parents are a Ruth J Nelson and Alfred E.Nelson, I can add them but not sure how to get them connect to her.

RE: Nelson memorials on F A G
Hi the Ruth J nelson and Alfred E nelson who were the parents of Eileen B Hazelbower were never buried in trinity lutheran. I was looking on here yesterday night for my mum which is Eileen B Hazelbower and saw both the links. Maybe these are different people if that is the case they are not connected to Eileen in any way. They have always been buried at Rosehill.

Wrong information
Hi,
This is regarding Ruth Nelson Memorial# 7402093 and Alfred Nelson Memorial# 7402092 you have them in the wrong cemetery. They're actually buried in Rosehill memorial cemetery in Minot,nd not in Trinity Lutheran. I have the dates of birth and death to if you would like them.

Thanks.

Lois Mantei
Mantei Family
Herb,

Requesting transfer of Adeline M. Mantei, Memorial # 11274374, Augusta Bieberdorf Mantei, Memorial #11274373, and Elaine Mantei, Memorial #11274375 to me, Lois Mantei, Contributor # 48502620. Adeline is my paternal grandmother, Augusta is my paternal great-grandmother, and Elaine is my paternal great-aunt.

I added a photo of my great-grandmother, Augusta and a couple of my grandmother, Adeline to their memorials a few days ago. If you have photos of their gravestone/markers would so greatly appreciate it if those could be added to their memorials. I left a request several days ago; however, no response as of yet from anyone.

My late great-grandfather Karl Mantei (Augusta's spouse) passed away in Upham on Nov. 23, 1907. Have been unsuccessful in locating any cemetery info for him. According to family records, there is a gravestone, and the gravestone says Nov. 22, 1908. If you have been to Upham, ND would you by any chance have any info regarding his gravestone?

And last, thank you so much for having taken the time to create the memorials. My daughters and I so appreciate it.

Lois
