Bio and Links
Bio Photo For the past several years, I have enjoyed being a volunteer photographer working primarily in Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn, NY. It is a stunningly beautiful place and a complete respite from the insanity of Manhattan, where I live and work as a copy editor in an ad firm.

BUT--my knees are totally shot--worn by arthritis to bone-on-bone. In a few weeks, I will have double total knee replacement surgery and will therefore be out of commission for quite some time. I will be able once in a while, perhaps, to fulfill requests from photos I have on file. Aside from that, however, I will be inactive until next spring, 2017, at least.--BC Sep 17 2016

UPDATE: Surgery for both knees was scheduled for Oct 17--but only one was done. I'm a month into recovery and am doing well. But I have to do the whole business over again for the other knee. No telling when I'll be out in the field again. --BC Nov 17 2016

Hello, Mr. Collins! I just wanted to extend my sincere thanks for the photo you took of a plot that is unmarked, with four members of the Wassweiler family. Emily and Otto Wassweiler are my 3x great grandparents. Thank you so much for not leaving them alone and forgotten! I'm truly grateful. It may seem like a small thing, but what you and the other volunteers do matters and makes a difference.
Warm Regards,
Heather Wellman

Aberdeen Biggs
Thank you so much for your headstone photo at Greenwood. I'm a bit confused as the stone says Ethan, rather than Aberdeen Biggs.

Margaret J. Boyd Deats
I think Margaret Jane Boyd Deats is the mother of Edwin Alex Deats and was married to Edwin Oscar Deats. Edwin Oscar Deats (18, FEB, 1850-20, JUL 1891) may be buried at Evergreen Cemetery, Brooklyn.

Kay-Lambert in Greenwood
Thank you for adding a fabulous photo of the Kay-Lambert plot in Greenwood. It looks like it was a beautiful Fall day. I now can see the entire plot!
Good luck with your surgery and recovery!
