I have two sons, Jerimiah and Joshua; two stepkids, Leslie and Michael; an adopted son, Joshua; four granddaughters, Makenzi and Ashleigh, Leah and Emaleigh, Zia and IsabelIa; two grandsons, Clayton and Liam. I enjoy history, geneology and antiques. I always look for families with the names of Stewart, Sevier, Harvey, and Moore. Recently, I have been documenting cemeteries with pictures of headstones and any information I can find. I have completed Sunderland Cemetery in Daleville, IN and am working on Miller Cemetery outside Middletown, IN.
Saylor, Jr. and Alma Shanafelt SAYLOR and ALMA's graves have been found in Illinois. Please see: Find A Grave Memorial 155561851 and 155561818 I tried to delete Saylor's but was not the original creator of memorial...but, the unknown burial of Saylor and Alma should be deleted. Hope all is well with you. Blessings... Shari
Raymond and Jewell Titus Brenda, so long ago you posted photos I had requested and I am sorry for the big delay to acknowledge this as I have been ill for a great length of time. I do most certainly appreciate your efforts. Thanks! Louise
20894659 Rachel Dunbar Thank you for posting tombstones! Your efforts are appreciated greatly! I believe Rachel's stone says "dau of Archibald & Elizabeth" and she is not the daughter of James and Nancy Dunbar. Archibald and James were brothers. Rachel's mother, Elizabeth (Bell) Dunbar is buried in Pleasant Grove Cem., Jefferson Twp, Newton Co., IN mem #67841835. Rachel's father, Archibald, is buried somewhere in Tama or Marshall County, Iowa. Grave not found though i have searched for it on foot. I would appreciate it if you would check the stone and verify that I am correct. Thank you very much for all you do! My Best, Micki Jacobson
Nancy A. Moffett Clark Hello Brenda, Thank you for all the work you do in taking pictures of tombstones and posting them on Find A Grave for those of us out of the area. In looking at Nancy's #73131584,tombstone picture, it shows that she is the wife of W. T. Clark. I believe T. stands for Taylor. Do you know what name the W. stands for?
Lettis Clark Hello. I have updated the information for her memorial. She died in 1867 rather than 1887. Tombstone is difficult to read. Based on that year and her age at time of death, she was born on 11 May 1784. Her name was Letitia Lindsey, daughter of James and Mildred Elizabeth Moody Lindsey. She was born in Bedford, PA and was married to Samuel G Clark who is also buried in Pleasant Walk Cemetery. Thank you for placing this photo of the tombstone and for establishing this memorial. Lettis and Samuel were my 4x great grandparents.
