Bio

My name is Dan. I was born in Northern New Jersey and I've lived here for almost my entire life. After spending nearly my entire childhood afraid of cemeteries, a boy scout trip to Gettysburg fascinated me. As someone who is a huge proponent for the preservation and documentation of history, I am proud to be a part of Find a Grave. No one deserves to be forgotten, and through volunteering to take photos and gathering information, I am helping that idea become a reality.

Several people have asked me about the use of my title of Reverend, and that's okay. I am a Minister of the Universal Life Church, a non-denominational church. In my capacity as a minister, I have performed marriage, counseled others on faith and life, and heard confession. I feel that being a photo volunteer has been one of the greatest contributions of my life, and it always makes me so happy to know I've helped someone.
