Jane Harden

There has been some interesting reading in the obits you are forwarding. I have really been enjoying the info provided in them.

Another long shot favor if you please: Looking for obit for my Gg grandmother Jane Harden, died in 1891 in Mt Savage Maryland, obit may be in the Cumberland papers. Sorry I can't narrow down an exact date but thought in your searches if you run across any Jane Hardens you'd keep me in mind.

Thanks, John

Thank you for the edit. I do want you to know that having a death certificate on a memorial is not what I would prefer. If it was on the second page I wouldn't mind. A death certificate is not a memorial thing for me.

RE: Lashbaugh

Thanks Charles for your effort. The Lashbaughs are my wife's family. I have seen the MD Archive record but have found little else about the Lashbaughs.

I appreciate everything you do here!

Cumberland Times
Hi Charles,

I have been enjoying making the updates you are sending for Philos and I hope you continue sending them.

Do you have a subscription to the Cumberland newspaper? If so would you mind looking a few obits for me?

Looking for:

Jacob L. Lashbaugh 1917
Laura Virginia “Jennie” Preston Lashbaugh 1935

Lewis Lashbaugh Oct 20, 1893
Mary Jane Fazenbaker Lashbaugh Aug 11, 1893

Thanks, John

Thanks for sending the names/numbers for your miners. I forgot to mention that the virtual cemetery is for those who lost their lives in the coal mines. Two of the men you sent died in the mines so I added them to the virtual cemetery.

Coal Miners
Dear Charles,

I have been working on a virtual cemetery project for our Maryland and West Virginia miners. Would you mind if I copied your idea and put the coal miner icon and poem on their pages?
