Bio

In 1997 I got my first computer and soon found a Landry website. I had always been interested in my ancestors from information my father had related to me. I believe his interest in family was because his mother died 5 days before he turned 3 and had been shifted from relative to relative until he settled with one of his mother's sisters at the age of 12. I started two years before retiring, spending a great deal of time in Woonsocket and at the Harrisville Town Hall and walking St. Patrick's Cemetery each time after the Town Hall closed. I found many relatives buried there and also many buried in Precious Blood and took many photos and then the relatives began to spread out. That's when I started asking for lookups of relatives beyond those areas on Find A Grave, and also new relatives that I discovered in the previous areas. I am still looking since many of my grandfather's brothers and sisters (23) stayed in Canada but their offspring came to the States.
