|Jane Anderson-Paul||RE: 43818564|
Eliza Thomas was William Trembath's mother. So I Think the problem is that my cousin, Peter Trembath did not know that Eliza had a other son, Edmond Trembath who was 13 years older than William. It didn't make sense to me either as William was only 5 years old when they came to the United States. Edmond married in 1899 and moved to Sheridon, Wyoming. I assume that Edmond cared for Eliza and William until he moved to Wyoming. William took over from that time until she died in 1918. Edmond died in Wyoming in 1917 and Eliza died in 1918 and William died in 1952.I have found no information on Eliza's husband, Matthew Trembath. According to my mother and her brother, he abandoned his family and no-one knows what happened to him.
I too have a question for you. On Eliza's death certificate, my grandfather, William put down that John and Elizabeth Thomas were Eliza's parents. It may be possible that he was not sure if that was correct as he never met them.
Are you on My Ancestry.com? You can contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Do you have any photos to share? I don't think I have any of Eliza that I know of. She may be in a group photo and I can't identify her.
My husband and I visited Cornwall, England 2 years ago. We found a lot of information on my grand-mother's ancesters,but nothing on the Trembaths.

According to the Ohio Military Men 1917-18 record, Milan died in the sinking of the Ticonderoga during WW 1
You're very welcome. It is a very satisfying experience for me as well--especially when I find "bonus" family nearby! Have a lovely weekend!

Please note that Ina Gish shares a plot with her mother, Martha Mariah Atherton Gish Find A Grave #78301395. I also photographed Martha's headstone and posted it to her memorial this evening as well. Have a pleasant evening. Eileen

What sweet words! Thank you! I grew up in Los Angeles and as a child, I had my name read on the air by her on Romper Room... and Sheriff John!

|Marilyn Nichols Trumbull||Junkins, Long families|
Thank you for all of your work on The Junkins family. I imagine you are a descendant of both. My husband is also a descendant of the Junkins, Haas, Trumbull families. He grew up in Weston, OH. His mom, H. Irene Haas Trumbull, passed late last summer. I'm picking up her work on the Bachmann, Ballmer & Junkins lines. I now have the Junkins & Ballmer lines back to the early 1600s in Europe & would be willing to share if you are interested. Would you have any photos of the Junkins that you might be willing to share electronically? I use family tree maker and would love to insert photos of people, not just gravestones, names & dates, so our grands & our recent great grandson might know their legacy.
