Happily unattached, traveling nurse anesthetist with a passion for genealogy, outdoors, and photography. I enjoy recording and sharing cemeteries I find in my travels with people on FAG. I am not related to most of my memorials; please let me know if I can transfer a relative of yours to you. I enjoy doing photo requests and try to take a few extra pictures while I am there. I try to prepare the stone for a nice picture but don't always have my tools with me (the airlines frown on gardening tools in luggage!) to trim grass, wash bird droppings, etc. Please let me know if I've made some typos and I will correct ASAP. Also, please let me know if you get a better photo and I will delete mine. I'll be always grateful to one of my high school English teachers, Marjory Sharp, Find A Grave Memorial# 117584719, for assigning a four generation pedigree chart and to my great grandmother, Eva Alta Jackson Yeokum, Find A Grave Memorial #20165966, who lived next door and helped me fill it out the night before it was due!|

January 2012 - I am working to "link" my memorials. Links weren't around when I started here, so I'm having to do some serious backtracking! Thanks to everyone that sends additional information for the memorials--I get 10-20 emails a week--please be patient as I work on getting all this added, too.

|Robert Brotherhood||RE: Wilhemina Cuspert, Hopeton Plantation Cemetery|
She is "Willie" on SSDIndex, died in Savannah, GA.
But let me do some more research, and I will get back to you.
The usual spelling is WilheLmina. e.g. queen Wilhelmina of the Netherlands (1898-1948). Female form of German Wilhelm (William).
Have a nice day.
|deedie||Ernst Hoewelmann #57207836|
This grave is that of Ernst Jacob Hoewelmann who was born at Kattenvenne in Lienen Tecklenburg, Germany in 1817. He was married in Germany to Katherine Sellmeier. The couple first settled at Pinckney in Warren County, Mo. His wife Katherine Sellmeier is buried at the old St. John's Church Cemetery in Pinckney, Mo. He was the son of Gerhard Rudolph Hoewelmann and Sophia Elizabeth Hassmann. For research it is helpful to know that the surname has been spelled over the years in various ways, Hovelmann, Hobelmann, Hoevelmann. The current modern spelling is Howelman. Ernst Jacob was my Great Great Grandfather. Thanks for honoring him and for all you do to help us remember our ancestors. I would appreciate your adding some of this information to his entry on Finda Grave.

|Aunt Sissy||RE: Alma Margrave Photo|
You are very welcome. I was named for Alma's daughter, Hattie Mae Seabaugh. Alma and my maternal great-grandmother Ollie were sisters. We also visited the cemetery where Hattie Mae is buried.
At the time I took the picture, I didn't know you had photo requests and we didn't know my dad's Uncle Mun's was buried there - he isn't located next to Alma. Dad says we now have a good excuse to go back. :) Merry Christmas!
Hattie Mae (Richardson) Carter
